Echo Active is a local initiative sharing native plants with the community. We source locally grown plants from nurseries that specialise in natives and encourage people, starting in Melbourne's Northern suburbs, to grow them at home and connect to local ecosystems.
Each native plant adds a small piece to a growing patchwork of native habitat across the city. Together these plants provide food and shelter for birds, bees and wildlife that depend on them. Our goal is to support community-powered biodiversity across Naarm and beyond.
We're looking to raise $5,000 to fund our next round of native plant giveaways. Every contribution helps us source more plants and share them with people across the community. One plant can support local biodiversity for years to come.
