Who Are We?
Echo Active is run by David Hack, photographer, traveller and nature lover. David has worked as a lawyer and in government and has run a tutoring agency. He's volunteered with the Wilderness Society and been involved in the push to create a Great Forest National Park. David regularly visits Toolangi, home of the Leadbeater's Possum.
EA was created on the lands of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (now Melbourne) and their sovereignty was never ceded. We pay respect to their elders, past, present and emerging and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders have in Australia. There can be no justice without justice for first nations people across the globe.
