Echo Active connects people who care about their environment and want to help protect it. We raise awareness about threatened species and ecosystems, and promote sustainable living and ecofriendly businesses.
We have users from around the world posting photos and articles, sharing videos, sounds and content that they care about. It's free to join and create a page about threatened species or ecosystems, an issue you care about or an NGO or group you work with. Visit our news feed for more info.
Our business partners include eco-conscious retailers, organic grocery stores, craftspeople, sanctuaries, tour operators and accommodation providers.
Members get year-round discounts of 10% from our business partners and help us fund campaigns about species or areas they care about.
Who Are We?
Echo Active is run by David Hack, photographer, traveller and nature lover. David has worked as a lawyer, in government and has run a tutoring agency. He regularly visits Toolangi, home of the Leadbeater's Possum.
EA was created on the lands of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri, peoples whose sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay respect to their elders, past, present and emerging and acknowledge the pivotal role of Aboriginal and first nations people in Australia and around the globe.
