Blue-billed Duck

The Blue-billed Duck, Oxyura australis, is a species that's rarely seen due to its affinity for deep-water lakes and wetlands. The species is listed as threatened in Victoria under the Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act, where it is subject to an Action Statement, as vulnerable in NSW but has not yet been listed under the Federal EPBC Act.
