Greater Sooty Owl

Prior to European settlement the Greater Sooty Owl, Tyto tenebricosa, was abundant in Victoria's montane forests. Due to loss of habitat, it is now listed as endangered in Victoria. See this link for more info and recordings featuring the Greater Sooty Owl.
