ShareWaste

ShareWaste

ShareWaste is a community initiative and a free world-wide online app connecting people to recycle their organic waste

Our map-based app helps connect people who wish to recycle their kitchen scraps with their neighbours who are composting, worm-farming or keep chickens. Our users are households, community gardens and other initiatives who want to get connected with other members of their community and divert organic waste from landfill by recycling it.

We also run a Facebook and Instagram channels where we encourage people to adopt habits for more sustainable living, inspire them by sharing examples of good practice and introduce them to other great local sustainability or community projects. ShareWaste helps people see their organic waste as a resource that can be used in their gardens instead of becoming part of landfill.
